Interventions (Speciifc policies, programs, Services, Practices or Routines)
<
>
An Intervention is a specific policy, program, service, organizational/professional practice or organizational routine (e.g. no-smoking policy, instructional program on sun safety, parent information module) that can improve aspects, behaviours or issues affecting the educational success, health, safety, security, personal, social and environmental protection of young people, their families, and the staff that serve them. Often these individual interventions are developed as an immediate and singular response to a problem and are not necessarily positioned as well as they should be within an multi-component approach (MCA), multi-intervention program (MIP) or Learning-Behaviour Model (LBM).
