International Discussion Group -Teacher Education & Development Promoting Health & Life Skills

We take this opportunity to thank the members and contributors to this group which included

The focus of this IDG is applying what is known about initial teacher education (ITE) and continuing professional development programs (CPD) to the promotion of health and life skills through comprehensive approaches and programs. 

As with other discussion groups in this KDE program and web site, it is expected that eache group will recruit other participants, present their work in webinars/web meetings, prepare a set of Glossary Terms (GT) (1-2 paragraphs) on selected topics and start a Bibliography/Toolbox (BT) of selected research and resources. If participants' time or financial resources permit, the IDG can prepare longer summaries such as Encyclopedia Entries  (EE) (1-2 pages) or Handbook Sections (HS) (10-15 pages) which eventually can be published.  

The topics in this on-going draft Knowledge Development & Exchange Agenda on     are the current focus of this discussion group. This list is open for amendment - contact [email protected]. The topics on this list with active links are already prepared in their "rough draft", first draft" and first edition" versions.
