Outline for a Glossary term
Purpose: To provide a clearly stated definition that is free of jargon and easily understandable to a variety of audiences. Misconceptions or popular mis-uses of the term should be addressed.
Suggested Length: One to two paragraphs
Suggested Approach: provide a concise definition in one sentence, briefly describe the elements or aspects, refer to its common usage (and misconceptions/misuse) and how the concept related to other aspects of school health promotionpromotion, safety or social development. Also provide a very brief summary of the quality evidence supporting its use or the experience in using the concept in real world practice
